Reiki and acting are the same thing — I'm always channeling.
Today, I offer Reiki as wellness practice for those seeking relaxation, harmony, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves. I'm also drawn to working with children and adults with cancer: not to claim anything about curing, but to give the body the conditions it needs to do what it already knows how to do.My intention is to create a nurturing environment where you can pause from the demands of everyday life and allow yourself a moment of stillness. Every person arrives with a unique story and experience. I approach each session with an open heart, respect for individual boundaries, and an understanding that every person's experience is their own. For me, Reiki is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your inner being, and make space for your own sense of harmony and well-being.
Vanessa's journey
I believe there is something meaningful about creating a space where we can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves. As a Reiki Master and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I bring a compassionate, I intuitive, and heart-centered approach to my practice. I experience life deeply and value the quiet power of presence, human connection, and creating space for others to simply be.
My journey with Reiki began during a period of significant personal change. Following a divorce and a car accident, I found myself feeling disconnected from myself. My first Reiki experience offered me an opportunity to relax, become still, and reconnect with my inner being. This experience inspired me to deepen my understanding of Reiki and eventually share this practice with others
“Reiki and acting are about channeling — it's the same thing at the table and on the stage.”
## The Connection Between Creativity and Reiki My background as an actress has deepened my appreciation for presence, listening, and the many ways we experience and express ourselves. Both acting and Reiki invite me to approach each moment with openness, awareness, and compassion. These qualities naturally inform my practice and the way I connect with others. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I value the depth of human experience and the importance of creating spaces where people feel welcomed, respected, and supported. Supporting Well-Being Through Reiki I am particularly interested in offering Reiki as a complementary wellness practice for children and adults navigating cancer and other serious illnesses. During challenging times, moments of calm, compassionate presence, and human connection can be meaningful. My intention is to offer a supportive space that honors each person's individual needs, wishes, and experiences. When offered in healthcare settings, Reiki complements rather than replaces medical care and is provided in accordance with healthcare guidelines and each patient's preferences.

That's always been natural for me, and it's grown stronger over time my sensitivity I am also an actor, and I think Reiki and acting are about the same thing: channeling. It's the same at the table as it is on the stage. What flows through me is unconditional love — no judgement, no criticism. Sessions are available in person and online. Before you book, I'd ask just one thing: come with an open mind and heart. That's enough.

### My Reiki Practice My Reiki practice is a space for relaxation, connection, and healing. I believe the body, mind, and spirit have their own wisdom, and Reiki can help create the space to reconnect with that inner balance. Each session begins with a brief conversation about what you’re experiencing and what you would like support with. I then create a calm, nurturing space for you to relax, receive, and simply be. You may experience deep relaxation, grounding, warmth, emotional release, clarity, or simply a sense of peace. Every experience is unique. I don’t see myself as someone who “fixes” or heals another person. My role is to hold compassionate space and offer Reiki as a gentle, supportive practice that honors each person’s own healing journey.
v### What Reiki Is Not Reiki is not a cure, diagnosis, or replacement for medical or mental-health care. It does not replace a doctor, therapist, medication, or other professional treatment. Clients should not expect me to diagnose conditions, predict outcomes, or “fix” something for them. Reiki Reiki is a complementary practice intended to support relaxation, well-being, and a deeper connection with oneself. There is also no specific experience a client should expect. Reiki is personal and can feel different for everyone. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space—not to promise a particular result.
